If the "same room for all guildmates" thing is correct then I believe that this is probably the best week to complete the IDDQD achievement, although it shouldn't be too hard on any other week that the event is running.
Just now I see that S32 Ripper is on 0 Boons & 6 Dooms, which is what I was on when I unlocked it, so this gives me semi-confidence that the unlock scrolls are in the same rooms for us all, and maybe even that luck scroll on Floor 5 Room II. Unlock Scroll, Boss Room, Unlock Scroll, Boss Room, Unlock Scroll, Boss Room, Heroism Scroll, used Heroism Scroll to defeat Boss Room without a battle, Luck Scroll (which counts as 2 defeated Dooms). You shouldn't need to purchase any tiers to get this achievement, but at least the option is there if you have the gems (first two tiers are fairly cheap - 30 and 60 gems, respectively, IIRC).Īs you can see from above, I was lucky enough to unlock this extremely painlessly. I think I started with 17 sigils (after purchasing the first 4 tiers in the Tower of Doom shop), so I must've got 11 Valravens giving +2 sigils to end up on 39 battles today. They're also very generous with the Valravens. Obviously, not everyone will unlock this on the first day with the 4 starting sigils, but it's a week-long event (like Invasion and Raid Boss) and you get 4 extra sigils each day, so there shouldn't be a huge problem beating 6 Dooms. Each battle uses a sigil, like the other similar events. Room IV - Armor Scroll įloor 11: Room II - *Unlock Scroll* įloor 13: Room II - **Luck Scroll** I don't know how true this is without someone to confirm it, but if this is the case then here is where they were for me, along with what I got in the other rooms I played:įloor 4: Room II - contained Heroism scroll for me (free defeat of a Boss Room)įloor 5: Room II - **Luck Scroll** (+2 to Dooms defeated) **Worth doing this roomįloor 6: Room II.
One thing I did read after this update was announced/previewed, that isn't mentioned in the patch notes, is that the unlock scroll is in the same room on each floor for each member in a guild in any given event week, which is an intended design. The patch notes link in BluWolve's original post does a good job in explaining the workings of the event, so I won't go into that here. Luckily it's not too hard, being similar to, and in or around the same difficulty as the Defeat 50 Towers in Invasion achievement. So, the "IDDQD" achievement for defeating 6 Dooms in single Tower of Doom event is achievable from today.
Makes Dragon Eye not quite as useful for battling high level enemies. Patch notes say ' When a transform spell targets an enemy, it will now transform the target into the creature of half its original level, rather than a predetermined level'. Not a fan of the change to the ' transform' ability. Was kind of annoying to scroll through all my lesser used teams to get to the ones I use more commonly.
I do like that they added the ability to reorder teams im the teams list. I'm not at level 1000 yet but I know there will be plenty of people who will get it retro.
I am curious to see how difficult it will be to defeat 6 Dooms in a single Tower of Doom. Im just looking through the patch notes now, and it sounds interesting. Two more achievements added, and a new guild event called Tower of Doom.
